makers of san diego history

Makers of San Diego History is an annual fundraising event hosted by the San Diego History Center to honor and recognize those in the San Diego region for “Making History in Their Own Time.” More than 300 guests joined the nonprofit institution for the 2019 event as they acknowledged the struggles and triumphs of San Diego’s LGBTQ+ community and honored Christine Kehoe and Toni Atkins. The night was a huge success and the History Center exceeded their goals, raising more than $100,000 to support their educational efforts.

Colors of the Pride flag were incorporated into the look of this year’s event to represent the San Diego History Center’s featured exhibition of 2019, LGBTQ+ San Diego: Stories of Struggles + Triumphs. Save-the-dates, invitations, fundraising forms, letterheads, e-blasts, brochures and more were created to promote the night to hundreds of guests, donors, committee members and volunteers.
