The Junior Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) is a global organization focusing on findingthe cure, prevention and treatment of type 1 diabetes. Every year, the JDRF Los Angeles Chapter hosts the Imagine Gala, an outstanding fundraising event which includes live entertainment, silent and live auctions, and their Fund A Cure program. It has easily become one of the largest Galas in Los Angeles, raising $1.11 million in 2017.
In 2018, the Los Angeles chapter contacted Experia Creative for the branding of their JDRF Imagine Gala. When creating an image for the event, it was important to reference the Gala’s venue, The Beverly Hilton. The hotel’s mid-century architecture and signage influenced the elements chosen for the initial invitation design, which was then expressed throughout the rest of the Gala’s marketing collateral. Save-the-dates, invitations, fundraising forms, letterheads, flyers, brochures and more were created to promote the night to hundreds of guests, donors, committee members and volunteers.
